Adoption Process

An application is required, which includes questions about any previous and current pets in the household, as well as the name and phone number of a veterinarian. The application also inquires whether declawing has been considered. After the application is received, veterinary references will be verified. If all responses are satisfactory, a pre-adoption fee will be collected to reserve the selected cat. The total fee is $100, with an upfront payment of $50 required.

I established the rescue in response to the significant need in our community. Our town, the fastest-growing in North Carolina, has evolved from a quaint fishing village with a nearby military base to a sought-after beach destination, particularly during the pandemic when many individuals chose to work remotely. This influx of residents has led to a transient population, resulting in pets, particularly cats, being adopted or purchased and subsequently abandoned when their owners relocate. This situation has caused local rescues to remain consistently full. My organization offers a safe environment along with food and care for these animals.
