Adoption Process

The adoption process includes several key steps. First, an application must be submitted. Next, the applicant's residence will be verified through public records. Following this, a phone interview will be conducted. The applicant will need to provide a veterinary reference and a personal reference as part of the evaluation. Additionally, the adoptee will have a conversation with their foster caregiver. Finally, a meet and greet will take place, which may include a home visit to ensure a suitable environment for the adoptee.
