Adoption Process

The adoption process includes an initial interview conducted over the phone, as we currently do not have a form management system in place. Following this, prospective adopters will need to complete an adoption fee payment and sign a contract. Finally, a home visit will be conducted, or a virtual video interview may be arranged.

Service Areas

The organization primarily serves Eastern North Carolina. We may consider adoption to out-of-state applicants on a case-by-case basis, which includes the possibility of arranging a home inspection and transportation.
