Adoption Process

Our adoption process begins with a two-page application for all prospective adopters. We will then discuss any questions and address any potential concerns to ensure that both the adopter and the animal are a suitable match. Our adoption fees are as follows: $60 for cats over one year, $60 for kittens, $110 for large dogs, $135 for puppies, and $150 for small dogs.

Adopt An Angel in Wilmington, NC

We are a dedicated group of volunteers committed to reducing the number of animals euthanized in local shelters through proactive adoption and spay/neuter programs. We collaborate with area shelters to focus on cats and dogs that are at risk or have special needs. Our aim is to provide them with a safe environment, necessary veterinary care, and ultimately, loving homes. Since our establishment in 2004, we have successfully placed over 11,000 previously unwanted animals into forever homes. Each time one of our animals is adopted, we take in another to continue our mission.
