Adoption Process

We have a structured adoption application and process, which includes a contract following the acceptance of your application. The adoption fee is $140 for kittens under one year old and $125 for cats over one year old. This fee covers FIV and FeLV combination testing, rabies vaccination, leukemia vaccinations, distemper vaccinations, spay or neuter procedures, microchipping, routine medical care, and flea and tick prevention.

Service Areas

We primarily serve Statesville and Mooresville, as well as Iredell County and the surrounding areas. Additionally, we are pleased to facilitate out-of-state adoptions.

Paws and Claws Feline Rescue in Statesville, NC

We are a non-profit rescue organization that has successfully rescued and rehomed over 1,000 cats and kittens as of August 2015, marking our seventh anniversary. Our operations are funded entirely through donations, grants, and adoption fees, with no compensation for our volunteers. Every donation received is fully allocated to the care of our cats and kittens and is tax-deductible. We are continually seeking dedicated individuals who are willing to volunteer their time with our rescue group. We have an ongoing need for foster homes to provide temporary housing for our cats and kittens. For more information, please contact us via email. All proceeds from these purchases go directly to Paws & Claws Feline Rescue.
