Adoption Process

Our adoption process includes several important steps to ensure the best match between pets and their new families. You can find a detailed list of requirements on our website. The process involves completing an adoption application, conducting reference checks, and verifying veterinary references. We also require a home check and an adoption contract to be signed. Additionally, there is an adoption fee, which varies based on the age of the dog and ranges from $225 to $350. A follow-up home visit will be conducted after the dog has been placed in its new home.

NC Molosser Breed Rescue in Jacksonville, NC

I am a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator, dog trainer, and Behavior Modification Specialist. Recently, I completed my service in the Active Duty Marine Corps. I focus on rescuing Mastiff breeds primarily from military families who may not fully understand the time, care, and training required for these large dogs. Many of these dogs have experienced abuse, so I utilize positive reinforcement training to help them build confidence and overcome their past. My goal is to prevent these dogs from being placed in kill shelters or falling into unsuitable situations.
