Adoption Process
To initiate the adoption process, please complete the application available on our website at gsdrescue.org. Once the application is submitted, we will conduct a veterinary reference check, a phone interview, and a home visit to assess your suitability for adoption. Following approval, we will match you with a German Shepherd and arrange for a trial period, typically lasting one week. The adoption fee is $300, and an adoption contract will be required during the trial.
