Proud Animal Lovers Shelter (PALS) Information

Proud Animal Lovers Shelter (PALS) is a state-licensed, 501(c)3, no-kill shelter. Our mission is to provide a safe, temporary shelter and care for homeless or unwanted animals and to seek responsible homes for them. We have one paid manager and 3 paid part-time workers, but are mostly run by volunteers. Our funding comes from adoptions, donations, fundraisers, and grants. Since we opened our doors in January 2010, we have adopted out over 2,400 animals and have spayed or neutered almost 1,600 dogs and cats, thus preventing many more unwanted animals. Although we are currently open only by appointment due to COVID-19, we hope to be able to welcome visitors in the near future.
