Keepers of the Wild is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal shelter and sanctuary located in Valentine, Arizona, within Mohave County, roughly 90 miles northwest of Henderson, NV, and one of 12 shelters and rescues serving the Mohave County area. Founded in 1995 by Jonathan Kraft, the sanctuary spans over 175 acres of natural canyon landscape and is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating neglected, abused, and abandoned exotic and indigenous wildlife, including big cats. The organization provides lifelong, high-quality care rather than adoption placement, while offering guided safari tours and educational programs to promote conservation and humane treatment of animals. It is accredited by the American Sanctuary Association and holds a 4-star Charity Navigator rating.
