Adopting from Colorado Horse Rescue, Inc.
Adoption process
Adopters first complete an online horse match profile describing their experience and preferences, then CHR staff follow up within a week to discuss potential matches. If a good match is found, the adopter must visit and meet the horse at least twice with a trainer, after which CHR reviews the horse's future living environment, and the adopter pays the full adoption fee and signs a contract before taking the horse home.
