Adoption process
The adoption fee is $95, which covers a feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus test for cats, a heartworm and Lyme disease test for dogs, distemper vaccinations, spaying or neutering, microchipping, de-worming medication, any necessary medical care, and a one-year membership to the shelter. Prospective adopters will begin by viewing the available animals and then completing an adoption application. They will also have a discussion with an adoption counselor. Verification of housing is required to ensure that pets are permitted. After the application process is complete, adopters may visit with the pets they are interested in.
