About this shelter

Second Chance Pet Adoptions in Huntington Beach, CA

Second Chance Pet Adoptions is an animal shelter located in Huntington Beach, California, in Orange County, where it operates alongside 37 other animal shelters and rescues, roughly 25 miles northwest of Los Angeles. It is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity focused on cats and kittens, all of which are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and treated for fleas before adoption. The organization promotes Return-To-Home and trap/neuter/return (TNR) programs to humanely manage feral and stray cat populations, and it offers a Sponsor-A-Cat program for cats who are unlikely to be adopted due to age, personality, or medical issues. Donations are the organization's only source of income, as it receives no government or corporate funding.
