About this shelter

Greyhounds Rescue Society of Texas, Inc in Dallas, TX

Greyhounds Rescue Society of Texas, Inc., operating as Greyhounds Unlimited, is a rescue organization based in Dallas, Texas, in Dallas County, where 52 other animal shelters and rescues also operate; it sits about 1 mile northwest of downtown Dallas. The group is an all-volunteer nonprofit with no paid staff, and 100% of donations go toward the ongoing needs of the greyhounds in its care. Its work centers on helping greyhounds transition from kennel life into foster and forever homes, relying heavily on foster families, volunteers, and community support to cover food, veterinary care, medications, and transportation. Supporters can find adoptable hounds, apply to adopt, or contribute through the organization's wish lists, store, and donation programs.
