About this shelter

Golden Retriever Rescue of North Texas in Dallas, TX

Golden Retriever Rescue of North Texas (GRRNT) is a golden retriever rescue based in Dallas, Texas, located in Dallas County, about 1 mile northwest of the city and among 52 other animal shelters and rescues in the county. The organization relies heavily on foster homes, noting that without fostering there can be no rescue, and it saves the lives of over 100 pets every year. GRRNT also offers permanent foster placements for dogs with special needs and a "Golden Oldies" program for senior dogs, alongside its standard adoption process for available goldens. Beyond adoption and fostering, the group supports its mission through volunteer opportunities, donations, and community involvement, including memorial tributes to dogs who have passed through its care.
