Adoption Process

Upon successful completion of these steps, applicants may be matched with a pet that fits their needs and circumstances, leading to the finalization of the adoption. Throughout the process, we prioritize the well-being of both the animals and the adopters.

Fuzzy Friends Rescue is dedicated to the belief that all animals deserve a quality life filled with respect and compassion. With the domestication of animals comes a moral and ethical obligation to provide care for them. Our mission focuses on offering shelter, food, medical treatment, and love to animals in our community that are abandoned, unwanted, or in need. We aim to raise awareness within our community about the animals we share our lives with, encouraging responsible pet ownership. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization, Fuzzy Friends Rescue provides a life-care environment for homeless and unwanted animals. We do not euthanize animals to make space for others and commit to caring for every animal we take in until they are adopted. We strive to find loving homes for these animals as swiftly as possible. While some may stay with us for just a few days or weeks, others may require months of care and rehabilitation before they are ready for adoption. In cases where animals are more challenging to place, they may remain at Fuzzy Friends Rescue for a year or longer. We ensure that these animals have a safe and nurturing home until they can be matched with a permanent, loving family, provided they do not develop an incurable illness or exhibit aggressive behavior.
