Our Mission Francisvale is a no-kill shelter dedicated to accepting adoptable cats and dogs. We provide loving care while seeking permanent homes for these animals. Our Purpose We aim to shelter and place abused, unwanted, and abandoned companion animals. We educate the community to raise awareness of the challenges faced by homeless animals and promote the benefits of adopting those in need. We ensure that all pets receive necessary medical treatment, including spaying and neutering. We carefully screen potential homes for placement, engage in advocacy and outreach, and manage a pet cemetery.

Adoption process

To begin the adoption process, please complete a brief online application. We will then verify your references. If the references are satisfactory, an adoption counselor will contact you to schedule an appointment. We require dog meet-and-greet sessions, home visits, and the completion of an adoption contract. The adoption fees are as follows: for adult dogs, the fee is $200; for puppies under six months, the fee is $250; and for senior dogs aged nine years and older, the fee is $100. The adoption fee for cats is negotiable.
