Oregon Animal Shelter in Bay City, OR

Oregon Animal Shelter is a non-profit, cage-free, no-kill shelter and sanctuary located in Bay City, Oregon, in Tillamook County, roughly 45 miles east of Hillsboro, and it is one of three animal shelters/rescues serving the county alongside two other nearby organizations. Founded in June 2012 by Executive Director Mark Hannah, the organization cares for animals that have been abused, neglected, or abandoned, serving a wide range of species including dogs, cats, horses, cows, goats, sheep, birds, chickens, ducks, ferrets, pigs, and more. It operates as an adoption center working to find loving homes for animals of all kinds, and also runs a hospice program for chronically or terminally ill animals to live out their lives in comfort. As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, it relies on donations, with 100% of contributions going directly toward animal care, and no board members or volunteers receiving compensation.
