The Mansfield-Richland County Humane Society is a humane society located in Mansfield, Ohio, within Richland County, roughly 60 miles northeast of Akron, Ohio. Its mission is to advocate and compassionately care for the abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in the community and to find them loving homes, with a vision of reducing homelessness and abuse among animals while increasing public education on animal care and responsible pet parenting. The shelter operates the RASCAL Unit Spay and Neuter Clinic, partners with PetSmart as an adoption partner, participates in the MANCI Cell Dog Program and Pets for Patriots, and offers services such as pet food assistance and animal welfare checks. Five other animal shelters or rescues also serve Richland County alongside this humane society.
