About this shelter
Huron County Humane Society in Norwalk, OH
The Huron County Humane Society is located in Norwalk, Ohio, roughly 50 miles east of Cleveland, and serves Huron County. It operates from its shelter at 246 Woodlawn Avenue, caring for dogs, cats, and other small animals awaiting adoption, and it also runs an on-site dog park. The organization partners with Humane Ohio to offer regularly scheduled spay/neuter sign-ups for the community, and it relies on donations, such as its "Warm Paws" campaign to fund heated kennel floors, to keep animals in its care healthy and comfortable. It maintains an active volunteer program and a wish list for supporters looking to help meet the shelter's ongoing needs.
