About this shelter

Potsdam Humane Society, Inc. in Potsdam, NY

Established in 1957, the Potsdam Humane Society (PHS) has dedicated over 50 years to providing love and humane care for unwanted, abandoned, and sick animals in Potsdam and its surrounding areas. With the backing of the Potsdam community and 11 neighboring townships, PHS serves and protects more than 1,200 cats, dogs, and other animals each year. The compassionate care we offer not only benefits these animals but also enriches our community, as the kindness we extend to them positively impacts our lives in countless ways. PHS is committed to finding homes for all animals that come to us, ensuring that none will lose their lives due to a lack of space or resources for their care. We invite your support in achieving these goals and in continuing our long-standing tradition of humane and compassionate care for the animals we share our lives with in our community.

Additionally, we must receive verbal confirmation from the homeowner regarding the adoption.
