The Oswego County Humane Society is an animal welfare organization providing programs and services to people and their pets in Oswego County, Oswego, New York. Now in its 26th year of operation, it has facilitated 1,739 animal adoptions, provided 3,200 meals annually, and spayed or neutered 7,908 animals. The shelter, located at 171 Mitchell Street, also runs a spay/neuter clinic and helps rehome pets by posting them on Petfinder when foster space allows. Situated about 35 miles southeast of Syracuse, it is one of eight animal shelters and rescues serving Oswego County.
