The Golden Retriever Club of Greater Los Angeles Rescue is a golden retriever rescue based in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, roughly 15 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, and shares the county with 124 other animal shelters and rescues in our database. The organization is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and forever re-homing of abandoned and homeless Golden Retrievers, no matter how great the need, and also supports dogs of all types across Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura Counties. Since becoming a recognized charitable foundation in 2001, it has grown to more than 150 volunteers across Greater Southern California and has saved more than 5,100 Golden Retrievers and other dogs.

Adoption process
Applicants complete an online adoption application, pay a $25 non-refundable donation to schedule a required in-home visit, and are then contacted by a volunteer to arrange that visit; all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption.
