Folsom Feline Rescue is a cat rescue located in Folsom, California, in Sacramento County, about 15 miles north of Sacramento, and works alongside 14 other animal shelters and rescues in the county. The organization is dedicated to ending pet overpopulation and runs a Feral Spay/Neuter Program offering free spay or neuter, rabies and FVRCP vaccination, and ear-tipping for feral cats belonging to Folsom residents. After surgery and a recovery period, cats are returned to the location where they were trapped through Trap Neuter Release (TNR), a widely used approach to managing feral cat populations.
