Adoption Process

Kitty Corner is an on-site, free-roam cat shelter that operates on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays from 12 PM to 3 PM. During the week, visits can be arranged by appointment. Drop-in visits on weekdays are also welcome, provided a staff member is available to show you the cats. Our dogs are cared for in off-site volunteer foster homes. To meet a dog, you will need to complete an adoption application through our website. If it appears to be a suitable match, we will arrange a meet-and-greet appointment.

We provide services to qualified homes regardless of their location. Our offerings, including spay/neuter assistance through the SNAP program and food distribution through AniMeals, are available to residents of Contra Costa County.
