Pearl River County SPCA is a humane society located at 1700 Palestine Rd in Picayune, Mississippi, roughly 35 miles east of Gulfport, and is one of two animal shelters serving Pearl River County. It is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit that cares for homeless and abandoned dogs and cats, providing essential shelter, medical treatment, and vaccinations before adoption. Beyond adoptions, the organization runs community programs including a pet food pantry, spay/neuter resources, community cat solutions, and a fostering and volunteer program, and it operates the Hope Thrift store to support its mission. The shelter is open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm.
