Prospective adopters must be at least 21, local to the SF Bay Area or willing to travel to Oakland, and fill out an application, followed by an email response, an in-person meeting at the Rescue Barn in Oakland, and home/household approval; adoption is finalized by signing a contract and paying a $300 adoption donation fee.
