Founded in 2001 after volunteers discovered chained, outdoor dogs living without basic shelter in Battle Creek's historic Post Addition neighborhood, A.S.K. grew into an organization dedicated to "Kindness to ALL Kinds," working through proactive street outreach for 24/7 outside dogs, rescuing injured wildlife, and saving domestic fowl. The organization also supports a bird sanctuary and operates Veggz Cafe, an all-plant-based eatery in Battle Creek serving healthy, fresh foods.
