Adoption Process

Our adoption process begins when we receive an application. We will communicate with the applicant to determine if they are a suitable match for one of our cats. If we identify a potential fit, we will arrange a meeting between the applicant and the cat. Should the meeting go well, we will then verify the applicant's veterinary history, landlord, and personal references. Our adoption fees are $150 for cats over four years old, $175 for cats aged one to four years, and $200 for kittens under one year.

The Cat Connection in Waltham, MA

We are a nonprofit cat rescue organization staffed entirely by volunteers. Recognizing the significant number of stray and abandoned cats in our service area, we take various measures to assist them. Our efforts include trap-neuter-return programs, where we spay or neuter cats and then have volunteers provide daily feeding and shelter. Additionally, we facilitate foster care and adoption for these animals. We also aim to educate the community about the importance of spaying and neutering, while offering financial and behavioral support to help individuals retain their cats.
