The Scottish Terrier Club of Chicago was founded in 1930 by T.E. Weible and Mrs. M.F. Hillis and serves as the parent club's regional affiliate under the Scottish Terrier Club of America. The club is dedicated to encouraging and promoting the breeding of pure-bred Scottish Terriers, upholding the American Kennel Club breed standard as the measure of excellence, and protecting and advancing knowledge and interest in the breed through sanctioned matches, specialty shows, and other AKC-sanctioned events.
