Blue Iris Farm Rescue and Retreat is a rescue organization located in Lebanon, Connecticut, about 25 miles northwest of Hartford. It is a nonprofit sanctuary spread across 114 acres, dedicated to rescuing neglected and abused farm animals while offering retreat experiences—including mindfulness, spiritual healing, art, and nature-based activities—for visitors. The farm's origins trace back to a 2019 search for land, culminating in the purchase of the property on January 15, 2021, from which the founders built a haven for both rescued farm animals and the people who visit them. It is open seven days a week, Monday and Tuesday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, welcoming guests to visit the rescued animals and enjoy the farm's tranquil setting.
