Pima Animal Care Center is Tucson, Arizona's only open-admission animal shelter, located about 5 miles southeast of the city. It offers the largest selection of adoptable dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens in the community, and also supports pet owners through foster, lost-and-found, community cat trap-neuter-return, and rehoming programs. The center is open Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12:00–6:30 PM, Wednesday from 1:30–6:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM–4:30 PM.
