The Montgomery County SPCA is a humane society located in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, about 10 miles southeast of Philadelphia. Established in 1909, it is a nonprofit organization dedicated to animal protection, humane education, and caring for unwanted, lost, and abused domestic animals, serving dogs, cats, and other animals including small livestock. The Conshohocken facility houses the organization's administrative offices and is the largest of its shelters, working alongside sister locations to remain one of the few open-admission shelters that continues accepting stray animals from police departments and the public at no cost. The shelter is open Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
