Last Hope, Inc. Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation is a rescue organization based in Wantagh, New York, about 25 miles north of Stamford, CT. Since 1981, Last Hope has been dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of stray, abandoned and death-due pound animals, finding homes for both cats and dogs. The organization also runs a Fix-A-Feral TNR program, offers a veterinary assistance program for pet owners facing financial hardship, and operates a thrift shop to help fund its work. The Wantagh Adoption Center welcomes visitors Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
