Rescue Mission of Utica in Utica, NY

Rescue Mission of Utica is located in Utica, New York, about 45 miles west of Syracuse, and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Founded in 1890, it is a faith-based Christian ministry serving the city of Utica and the Mohawk Valley, reaching out to men, women, children, and families with both spiritual and practical support. As a rescue organization, it operates a 59-bed Emergency Shelter for men, a Drop-In Center, an Addiction Stabilization Center, and programs addressing food, clothing, and housing insecurity, including free meals available to anyone in the community who is hungry. Its mission centers on transforming lives through compassion, meeting physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs, and offering hope to those experiencing homelessness, addiction, incarceration reentry, or mental health challenges.
