Sean Casey Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue organization located in Brooklyn, New York, about 5 miles north of New York, NY. Its mission is to aid unfortunate animals in the interest of a higher quality of life, and it is one of the few rescues willing to take in the most difficult medical cases that other organizations turn away. Since 1998, it has pulled over 8,000 animals from city animal care and control, and it offers foster care programs for those who want to help without making a lifelong commitment. The shelter is open daily from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, seven days a week.
