Animal Charity Humane Society in Youngstown, OH

Animal Charity Humane Society is Youngstown, Ohio's humane society, serving as Mahoning County's only humane agency. It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that operates a full-service veterinary clinic alongside its rescue and adoption work, and its humane agents investigate and rescue animals from abuse, neglect, and abandonment. In 2024 the organization opened a new 22,000-square-foot facility that houses over 200 animals and rescued 665 animals from cruelty and neglect that year. The shelter is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and it sits about 40 miles south of Weirton, WV.
