MYOFB Rescue, Inc. (My Young & Old Fur Babies Rescue) is a 501(c)(3) rescue organization located in Woodsfield, Ohio, about 30 miles northeast of Wheeling, WV. It is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The rescue takes in puppy mill dogs, owner turn-ins, shelter animals, and special needs animals whose previous owners could no longer care for them, and it relies entirely on adoption fees rather than state or county funding to cover food, supplies, and veterinary care such as spaying/neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and surgeries. Adoptive families must keep their pets current on vaccinations and preventatives and have them spayed or neutered, and the organization was founded by Vicki Groves.
