The Fulton County Humane Society is an independent non-profit organization located in Archbold, Ohio, roughly 40 miles east of Toledo, dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and adopting out dogs and cats to loving homes. The shelter provides shelter, medical care, and love to homeless animals while striving to find them forever homes, and it also relies on foster homes for kittens, puppies, seniors, and special-needs dogs. In 2025 alone it rescued 421 animals, completed 401 successful adoptions, and spayed or neutered 662 animals. The shelter is open to the public Tuesday 12:00–4:00 PM, Wednesday 3:00–7:00 PM, Thursday 12:00–4:00 PM, and Sunday 12:00–4:00 PM, with cats always available to meet during those hours while dogs require an approved application first.
