About this shelter
Missouri Wildlife Rescue Center in Ballwin, MO
Missouri Wildlife Rescue Center is a rescue organization located in Ballwin, Missouri, about 20 miles east of St. Louis. It rehabilitates sick, injured, and orphaned native wildlife and releases healthy animals back into their natural habitat, while also providing educational outreach to promote environmental awareness and a harmonious relationship between the community and native wildlife. The Center relies on a small staff and a large team of volunteers, and in recent years has cared for thousands of animals annually, with spring and early summer marking its busiest "baby season" for orphaned cottontails, squirrels, and birds.
