The MaryAnn Wright Animal Adoption and Education Center is a cat rescue located at 16121 Reckinger Road in Dearborn, Michigan, about 8 miles east of Detroit. It operates as the adoption facility for Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The center is open to the public Wednesday through Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 PM, and also offers services such as lost-and-found assistance, trap rentals, and donation drop-off. Adoption process

Prospective adopters submit an adoption questionnaire (separate forms for cats and dogs), which are processed in the order received, and are encouraged to call the shelter to confirm a pet's availability; all adopted pets go home spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
