La Crescent Animal Rescue is a no-kill rescue shelter for cats and dogs located in La Crescent, Minnesota, about 60 miles west of Rochester, MN. Established in 2005, it is an all-volunteer, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the protection and welfare of animals through rescue, adoption, compassionate care, education, and community partnerships. The rescue also provides shelter for strays found within the city of La Crescent and relies on community donations, supplies, and volunteers to care for the animals. It is open Wednesdays from 4:00–7:00 PM and Saturdays from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM, with appointments available by calling ahead.
