FaerieLand Rescue in Anoka, MN

FaerieLand Rescue is a foster-based rescue organization located in Anoka, Minnesota, about 7 miles south of Brooklyn Park, and is open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The rescue specializes in German Shepherds and Welsh Corgis, welcoming purebreds and mixes that are owner-surrendered, abused, neglected, stray, or from animal control, and has saved over 400 dogs since it began operations. Because dogs are kept in foster homes rather than a physical shelter, the rescue is not open to the public, and adopters must complete an application and approval process before a Meet & Greet is arranged. FaerieLand Rescue also promotes spaying and neutering, vaccinations, training, and socialization, and prioritizes placing dogs—especially German Shepherds—with experienced families who own their homes and have fully fenced yards.
