About this shelter
Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue in Rock Springs, WI
Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue is located in Rock Springs, Wisconsin, about 40 miles southeast of Madison, and is open Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The rescue was established by Jeff and Jenny Kozlowski in March of 2005 and operates as a USDA-licensed rescue and educational center as well as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. It is home to big cats and other felines including tigers, lions, liligers, lynx, and African servals, and offers guided tours for visitors to meet the animals. The founders started working with big cats in the early 2000s and, after witnessing the abuses common in the cub photo-op industry, shifted their focus entirely to rescuing and caring for these animals.
