About this shelter

Beare Garden Plantation Animal Rescue in Snow Hill, NC

Beare Garden Plantation Animal Rescue is a rescue organization located in Snow Hill, North Carolina, about 60 miles west of Raleigh. It is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The rescue is a NC-licensed animal shelter and 501(c)3 nonprofit that focuses primarily on cats, especially those declined by other rescues and public shelters, including animals that are out of time, medically treatable, or left behind after an owner's death, and it takes in strays and owner surrenders as space and funds allow. It also runs a Community Service program that provides food, litter, medicine, and surgeries to keep pets in their homes and supports county shelters and feral colonies, and it relies entirely on donations and fundraisers since it receives no government support.
