Changing Hearts Farm Sanctuary in Shelby, NC
Changing Hearts Farm Sanctuary is an animal shelter located in Shelby, North Carolina, about 45 miles southeast of Rock Hill, SC. The nonprofit farm was founded by Rick and Carolyn Solan on the belief that understanding and empathy can help create a world where all beings are safe, respected, and free from harm. It provides opportunities for people to bond with animals who were previously thought of as food or products, aiming to change the hearts of visitors and encourage them to respect all animals and their desire to live.
