About this shelter
Society For Prevention-Cruelty / SPCA Of The Triad in Greensboro, NC
The SPCA of the Triad is a humane society located in Greensboro, North Carolina, about five miles southwest of the city, serving neglected, sick, and abandoned animals since 1994. Unlike many foster-based rescues in the area, it operates as a true shelter, housing cats and dogs on-site at its adoption facility, and receives no funding from the ASPCA or local government agencies. It welcomes visitors Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. As a limited-admission shelter, it accepts owner surrenders when space allows and also offers a free 30-day trial of Petcademy, an online training and behavioral support program, to help people keep their pets rather than rehome them.
