About this shelter

Little Victories Animal Rescue in Ona, WV

Little Victories Animal Rescue is a rescue organization located in Ona, West Virginia, about 15 miles west of Huntington, WV. It strives to reduce animal suffering and eliminate the plight of unwanted animals by providing sanctuary and rehabilitation to homeless, injured, abused, and abandoned dogs and cats, and it saves hundreds of lives each year through rescue and adoption. Beyond adoption, the rescue operates a "Sanctuary Sweethearts" program for long-term residents, seniors, and animals with special medical or behavioral needs, giving them lifetime care and a permanent, safe home when a forever family isn't easily found. The shelter is open for walk-in visits Thursday through Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with adoptions also available by appointment on other days for pre-approved applicants.
