Lawton Animal Welfare is located in Lawton, Oklahoma, about 1 mile north of the city, and is open Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The shelter's mission is to protect public health and safety by capturing loose animals and enforcing animal-related ordinances, while providing humane care and protection to animals in its facility. All animals adopted from the shelter are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and issued a city license as part of its commitment to reducing pet overpopulation.
