Heart in Hand, Critters Hollow Ranch & Rescue in Stewart, TN
Heart in Hand, Critters Hollow Ranch & Rescue is a rescue organization located in Stewart, Tennessee, roughly 30 miles east of Clarksville. It's a 501(c) non-profit dedicated to rescuing unwanted dogs, cats, horses and other farm animals and finding them suitable forever homes, ensuring each animal is spayed or neutered, vaccinated, tested and treated for heartworms, and started on basic obedience training before adoption. The organization operates solely on donations, sponsors, and volunteers, with 100% of donations going directly to the care of its rescues, and it hosts an annual concert fundraiser to help cover vet bills, food, and other costs. Visitors can schedule "Meet n' Greets" with adoptable animals on weekends by appointment, and the rescue also welcomes volunteers, including those completing community service hours.
