The Scituate Animal Shelter of Massachusetts, located in Scituate, Massachusetts, is open Wednesday 1:30–6:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, and Sunday 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, serving communities roughly 15 miles southwest of Brockton, MA. Each year the shelter finds homes for an average of 500+ animals and reunites dozens of lost pets with their grateful owners, taking in pets from every corner of the state and keeping them as long as they need — the shelter does not and has never euthanized for length of stay or space. Beyond adoption, it supports the community by donating over 50,000 lbs of free pet food annually, offering low-cost vaccination and spay/neuter clinics, and assisting feral cat volunteers with trap-neuter-release efforts to help feral cat populations live more healthfully. As a 501c3 charity, it operates under MA State Shelter License No. 219.
